On this episode of TrailRecon’s Trail Tuesday, we follow along as my good friend takes his 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ out on John Bull and Holcomb creek trails in Big Bear. His Jeep has been heavily modified to handle the challenges of these trails. He has a 7” long arm lift kit, 35 inch tires, and ARB air locks in a Dana 44 aluminum housing. All with the Magnum 5.2l V8 has under the hood and this thing is a beast. He’s been working on this rig for a while and he wheels it hard as you’ll see in the video. He has plans for some 37 inch tires in the near term and that will make this even more capable.
